For a while I've playing around with the idea of doing a Dino Squad comic where Veloci captures the Squad's mutant dog Rump who can turn into a mutant dinosaur form. Because I've gotten into the Silver Age comics recently, I decidded I would do it the old comics style, based on the one seen here:

It was done without reference, so that's why Rump look likes neither the Dino Squad style or quite the comics style. ^^' I was trying to get a feel for the realistic style as well the heavy shading.

No matter how hard I tried, I still think the bottom sketch of Rump in mutant form looks too much like a Tigrin sketch. Sorry about that. ^^"

And sorry about the dark part too- the scanner messed up on it. ^^

Drawn with a colored pencil, darkened in Photoshop to make the lines stand out more. ^^
